If you want a good place to eat, but the place is usually busy, I really enjoy going to Zorba's. Also, another place that I really enjoy is Venice House, but since they have raised their prices there, which is understandable, I really only go there on special occasions now, however, they do have some good specials there. Other than that, its hard to find anywhere but fast food. I have tried Ricki's but personally don't enjoy their food.

I personally been recommending Venice House and Zobras,Hard to find a great restaurant with great food/service and the kids will like too,,,Went to Sopranaos 2 years ago was EXCELLENT but could never afford to take my kids there too,,,,But as for me I love Red Lobster in Saskatoon,as I always get great service and food there,plus any probs they will fix asap with no problems,,,,If anyone does know a place with fresh Ingredients pleaseeeeee pass the info on,,as lots ask

The 50s diner on central is very good. Good service, good old fashion food. I just found this place myself. It's called "Jolee's" (i think).

An old stand by is Venice House for middle of the road dining. Hate to sound like a food snob, but after living in S'toon its hard to come back here to eat out.

Zorba's is ok, along the line of Venice House. Amy's on 2nd is nice, but pricey. I've only been there once way back and I was pleased with what I got. I have heard a few horror stories since though, but who knows if they're true or not.

One place I really didn't like was Johnny Boy's buffet... I miss Bonanza! :)

amy's is usually good. Vu's is decent for asian food, I enjoyed Soprano's. There is the place in south hill mall that is eastern food never been but have heard good things. Shananagans had good food not sure abour recently.

For adult dining ...definitely Soprano's and Amy's! In saying that you need time for both places. Not a speedy dinner. Zorba's tastes yummy but cleanliness is not their forte! Which tends to scare me. But in saying that you get a huge portion of food for a fair price. If you have the time to drive to Birch Hills the New Ground Cafe cooks fresh everyday! The menu is amazing and very different. Otherwise BP's is a standard....every BPs is kinda the same so you know what to expect. Although the pop their is quite gross especially diet.

To add to my conundrum, I've seen a lot of the kitchens of P.A. restaurants, and as a result, many of them are on my permanent blacklist. You can check out the most recent health report on your favourite eating establishment on the provincial health website. Or maybe you don't want to...

the best places we have found is Zorbas, Grainfields and if you loke chinese it is a toss up between Spicy Peppercorn and Star House. For anyone afraid of what thw kitchens are like I would suggest don't dine out. These places would not be open if the kitchen's weren't safe!!!

A great lunch place to eat is The Star Lite, it is run by KIN Enterprise, home made everything from the buns/bread, soups, fries to the deserts. They are challenged people that work there but supervised by nonchallenged. The prices are very reasonable too.
We like Zorbas, Venice House and Rickys for family dining. One also forgotten about too is Terace Cafe in the Best Western(old Marquis Inn), good food, good service.
Also, if you don't mind the drive, Ghost Rails Restaurant in Meath Park has very good food, home made from scratch as much as they can, service can be slow sometimes but food worth it, oh AND make sure you call to see if they are open before you take the trek out there.
